Эментер Четмон (Armenter "Bo" Chatmon, 1893-1964), вошедший в блюзовую историю как Бо Картер, наиболее значительная фигура в знаменитом семействе Четмонов. Хотя он и входил в семейный стринг-бэнд Mississippi Sheiks, но прославился больше собственными записями для Brunswick, OKeh, а затем и для Bluebird. Для последнего записывался в тридцатые годы, и пластинки эти имели неизменный успех. Любопытно, что именно с помощью Бо Картера знаменитый «брокер талантов» Хенри Спир (Henry H. Speir) смог разыскать в глубинах Дельты Чарли Пэттона (Charley Patton), после чего уговорил последнего записаться для Paramount: Эментер, как и всё семейство Четмонов, был близок Пэттону (они родом из одной местности). Несмотря на это, Бо Картер — яркий представитель блюзовой школы миссисипского Джексона, родоначальником которой является великий Томми Джонсон (Tommy Johnson).

Хотя «All Around Man» и была в свое время более популярной, «Cigarette Blues» лучше демонстрирует то, каким необыкновенным гитаристом был Бо Картер.
